My stay at the Grande Colonial La Jolla was wonderful overall. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed. However, I did wish the dining options were more robust, as the main restaurant was closed during my visit.

I booked a king junior suite with an ocean view and found the layout spacious and comfortable. The view was lovely, though I did notice the decor felt a bit dated compared to what I’d expect from a luxury hotel.

I had a wonderful week at the Grande Colonial, enjoying the quaint charm and attentive service from the staff. The location in La Jolla was ideal for exploring the beach and local eateries. My room was spacious and offered a glimpse of the ocean, although the bed could use an upgrade. Overall, I found a nice balance of comfort and quality service.

My stay at the Grande Colonial was quite pleasant. The location in La Jolla is truly magnificent, with easy access to the ocean and local attractions. I especially appreciated the friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcomed. However, I did encounter a couple of issues with my room's setup and maintenance that left me a bit disappointed.
